Returns and refunds
No problem: you have the right of return for 14 days!
Excluded are audio- and video data medium with a broken seal and goods you purchased at a festival, tour or pop-up-store of ours. Same goes for sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if such goods were unsealed after delivery.
Before creating a return label, please make sure that you have purchased the product in question in our store and that we are the correct recipient of your return. If you have sent us an (incorrect) item by mistake, please contact service@universal-music.de as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that the item sent to us in error can be found and returned to you. In any case, you have to bear the costs of the return shipment as well as other costs incurred by us for storage and processing
Returns from Germany
1. create and print a prepaid DHL label
To save postage on returns within Germany, please use our returns portal to print out a prepaid DHL address label.
2. fill out and enclose the return slip
The returns slip as a PDF makes it much easier for us to process your return. Therefore, please enclose the return slip with your shipment, or a note with your order number, the items in the package and the reason for your return.
It may take several days to process your return. Thank you for your understanding. Returns without our DHL label If you send your return yourself, we ask you to send the items to be returned insured to the following address:

Please also note that in the case of self-paid returns, you must contact your shipping service provider directly in the event of damage or loss. Unfortunately, we have no recourse in this case.
Please do not send the parcel freight collect and please keep the proof of posting or receipt until we have confirmed to you by email that we have received your return
Returns outside of Germany
Please print out the returns slip as a PDF and enclose it with your parcel. You are responsible for the costs of the return. Please make sure that you have a tracking number so that we can track your return at any time.

Replacement
Replacing your item directly is not possible, sorry. You will have to return and order again through our store.
Refund
The refund can only be made if the returned items arrive in perfect condition and the return took place in time. The refund will be transferred via the same way the payment was received.
Please note for cash on delivery: in order to transfer the refund we require your bank information. Those can be sent via email.
